Job description
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Facilitating nursing care by performing clerical and receptionist functions, operating the computer and maintains supplies on the unit: assisting in Obstetrical operations performed in the Operating Room located in the Labor and Delivery unit.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School diploma or GED equivalent. Graduate from a Surgical Technologist training program or has oneyear previous operating room experience as a Surgical/Delivery Room Technologist.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Graduate from a Surgical Technologist training program or has oneyear previous operating room experience as a Surgical/Delivery Room Technologist.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certification required. NRP is preferred. Preferred completion of a fetal monitoring workshop and an orientation to learn surgical asepsis.
