Threshold Rehabilitation Services, Inc., a human service agency supporting people with disabilities, has several openings in the Mental Health Division. These are three new full time opportunities due to our program expansion to meet the needs in our community!
Full time staff are eligible for benefits including medical, dental and vision, paid vacation and sick days as well as a 401(k) Plan and paid Holidays starting day one of employment!!
Overtime is also available (but not required) for those candidates who are interested.
Travel reimbursement for staff with appropriate insurance coverage.
The ideal Supported Living Specialist must work with minimal supervision, must be flexible, have a HS diploma, valid PA driver's license, access to a vehicle and a safe driving record. The candidate must have 2 years experience working with disabilities, preferably mental illness. Knowledge of community resources is a plus.
Responsibilities include: assisting individuals with money management, medical appointments, monitoring medications and maintaining the safety in their own homes/apartments, participate in teams, and other tasks as needed to enhance the quality of the individuals' lives.
Threshold provides comprehensive paid training for all employees.
The hours are primarily dayshift, 40 hours, flexible, including some hours on the weekend if needed.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two years experience working with persons with a mental health diagnosis is a plus,
- Valid PA Driver's License
- PA Motor Vehicle Record Check
- Use of vehicle while working with valid registration and insurance coverage indicating you are an insured driver
- Computer knowledge is a must
- Pre-employment Drug Screen
- PA Criminal History Clearance
- FBI Clearance (if candidate has not been a resident of PA for the past two consecutive years)
