Job Description: The Support Analyst takes the lead with overall support to the Account Management and Eligibility teams. This includes, but is not limited to, creating a shell for new implementations, inputting data into the renewal checklist and ensuring that renewal checklist are sent timely to clients, managing support emails ensuring they are routed to the appropriate Client Success Team. Assisting with demographic change imports, facilitating any questions as it pertains to the renewal process on the Benefits Administration portal, fielding inbound calls form the employer assisting with questions as it pertains to benefits enrollment. Processing enrollments by way of carrier key at renewal, conducting periodic data audits, and all other duties as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds Strong relationships with BBS Brokers and clients
  • Liaise with the Implementation & Account Management team along with Sales to understand the client’s renewal requirements
  • Timely completion of renewal checklist
  • Configuration of renewing places necessary to deliver the functionality defined in the renewal document
  • Deliver advice, guidance, and recommendations on renewal best practice to client and internal teams
  • Ensure that the BBS and Client renewal deadlines are met
  • Identify issues encountered during the renewal process and escalate to Training & Development as necessary
  • Provide ongoing support to HR and/or Broker as needed during
  • Process enrollments in carrier portals
  • Understand BBS Data audit process and BBS Data Validation Platform
  • All Other duties as needed

Skills/ Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in Customer Services
  • Knowledge of group insurance and voluntary benefits
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent personal accountability and time management skills; must be an independent worker capable of meeting assigned tasks deadlines
  • Strong Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in healthcare industry working for a group insurance carrier, broker, or consultant preferred
  • Quick learner with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing and fast paced environment
  • Working knowledge of Employee Navigator, Ease Central, and Selerix Benefits Administration systems preferred, but not required.

Education:

  • NC Life & Health License preferred but not required
  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
