Job Summary/Basic Function
Provide campus employees the proper materials as requested; ask questions and provide information to assist staff; determine the proper materials required; receipt and input the quantities into the materials database; maintain and update the materials database for inventory and re ordering purposes. Train/monitor student workers; talk with vendors/sales reps.; Safety protocols to operate forklift, electric pallet jack, etc; cover tasks for Supervisor during absences; may assist on Receiving Dock when other staff are unavailable and perform other related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Required Education
High School diploma or High School Equivalency (HSE) required.
Required Related Experience
Two years progressively responsible, directly related experience in inventory and parts supply or similar occupation. Properly lift/move up to 100 lbs. Effective personal computer and software skills including basic bookkeeping procedures required.
