Purpose:
The Supply Planning Manager is the day-to-day operational lead working in conjunction with Marketing and Sales Strategy to develop, maintain and optimize the forecast in support of all aspects of inventory, service levels, manufacturing, distribution, and sales planning, for assigned product portfolio and for new products innovations and third-party manufacturers.
This role provides flexibility to work in a hybrid environment of home and our Westlake Village, CA office.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Manage the replenishment plan for the assigned portfolio within the packaged foods business.
- Coordinate with the sourcing units globally for timely availability of finished products.
- Work closely with the warehousing team to have the right level of inventory across each warehouse, enabling excellent customer service.
- Review the inventory level norms at each warehouse periodically to optimize inventory.
- Responsible for management of SLOBs; provide regular visibility to the business and track progress of the agreed actions.
- New product and innovation planning; define the right inventory builds for launch of innovations, transition management, etc.
- Plan and coordinate with copackers; define production plans, manage raw material sourcing where needed, and manage inventory control and shipment plans with 3PM.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring:
- 5-7+ years of experience in supply chain management.
- Prior experience and/or interaction with manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to interact professionally and closely within multi-cultural company.
- Ability to manage relationships with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, production as well as within Logistics.
- Prior management experience desirable (people and/or project).
- Skilled used of Microsoft Office products required.
- Experience with i2, SAP, systems and Showcase reports helpful; understanding of ERP systems preferred.

Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- If no degree, must have 7 or more years of direct supply chain planning experience.
- APICS CPIM Certification preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and use the computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones and use a variety of office equipment; ability to lift 15 pounds and reach overhead.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel may be required.

Hiring Pay Scale: $105,000 to $115,000
