Mission

Looking to bring together cross functional groups to improve on overall project performance by developing and maintaining an Integrated Master Plan (IMP); including the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Will work with and be consulted by the Head of Supply Chain Operations to analyze and present process excellence tools, implementation deliverables, cost-estimates, and cost-benefit analysis that will assist in accomplishing supply chain and project objectives in a more efficient manner.


Your Day-to-Day

  • Responsible for understanding the project life cycle and working to establish relationships with cross functional groups to develop an Integrated Master Plan (IMP), including a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Develop and support a Configuration Management plan to baseline, track changes, and determine impact of changes to systems architecture, hardware, software, ensure a method is in place to document history.
  • Ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources, to achieve project objectives
  • Utilize a Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, risk analysis, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to initiate focus and intervention on critical areas.
  • Relied on for accurately collecting and reporting on project performance data and supplying various metrics on a regular basis.
  • Ability to apply effective and diverse communication concepts, tools and techniques to accurately interpret the ideas, information, and needs of all stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of successful approaches, tools, and techniques for dealing with changes and adapting to a changing environment; ability to adapt to develop new techniques and applications based on professional principles and theories
  • Support new business proposals providing recommendations on schedule methodologies and proposal strategies and develop an IMP and IMS.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 years' professional related experience OR Master's Degree with 2 years’ experience
  • 3 years of project scheduling experience using Microsoft Project or other related scheduling tool.
  • 3 years’ experience using MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Foundational understanding of Program Management processes.
  • Must be able to work independently and have strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Certification OR Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) OR Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification
  • Experience with, and knowledge of hardware design and manufacturing processes for space & aerospace applications
  • Ability to contribute to cross functional teams in Kaizen events and apply LEAN / Six-Sigma principles
  • Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause of problems and create alternative solutions that resolve the problems most efficiently.
  • Experience using Schedule Health Analysis tools and Schedule Risk Assessment tools such as DCMA 14-piont & IPMR DI_MGMT-81861.
  • Experience working with data analytics and creating various reporting methods to show project metrics using visual charts and graphs
  • Working knowledge of EVMS guidelines and processes.
  • Experience in facilitation of resource leveling; validation of remaining work; identification and resolution of critical path conflicts; analysis of impacts to schedule of any proposed changes
  • Comfort and experience presenting to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership as well as other internal and external stakeholders
  • Fast learner capable of working across multiple software systems and comprehending complex system relationships
  • Experience using SAP
