This Supply Chain analyst role will focus on end-to-end Supply Chain improvements within our current Logistics network. In addition, this person will be responsible for leading our larger enterprise projects and managing a transportation technology IT continuous improvement list.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Connecting business processes with transportation technology capabilities and enhancements.

· Facilitate the project development for initiatives to improve current or future transportation technology systems.

· Ability to provide analysis and pull together business cases for large enterprise logistics initiatives.

· Ability to use project management tools to successfully execute large initiatives within logistics.

· Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

· Lead kaizen events, cross functional value stream/process mapping, and larger enterprise supply chain initiatives.

· Role will include partnering with our IT team to design and deliver improvements to our TMS system.

· Develop and drive improvements to key supply chain performance metrics (service, cost, etc.).

· Maintain relationships with internal and external business partners across the supply chain: order entry, manufacturing, suppliers, transportation, warehousing, IT, finance, other supply chain teams, etc.

· Participate in supply chain projects within the value stream with consideration to the entire supply chain (plan, source, make, deliver)

· Collaborate with internal and external partners

· Works independently with general supervision

· Role may require occasional travel to support enterprise / network projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· Bachelor’s degree or higher, equivalent experience. Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Information Systems is preferred.

· 3-5 years Supply Chain or Logistics experience

· Some experience in project management

· Adaptable to changing business conditions

· Knowledge and experience with TMS systems, data mining and data reporting

· Proficient in utilizing lean tools and methodology for problem solving and continuous improvement, including Pull, 5Y, PDCA, A3 thinking, waste elimination

· Builds strong working relationships with internal and/or external customers

· Seeks to understand customer needs in detail and how to satisfy them

· Willingly accepts assignments that will expand his/her capabilities

· Is self-sufficient and motivated to take-action and grow and develop

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
