If you are a Supply Chain Analyst - PCB Manufacturing Industry - with experience, please read on! We are a prominent printed circuit board company with a global reach that is based in Poway, California. In order to increase the accuracy of our budgets and predictions, we are looking to hire a detail-oriented, dependable Supply Chain Analyst. This individual will gather and evaluate financial data pertaining to the organization's spending.
What You Will Be Doing
- Ensures accurate recording and allocation of transactions to relevant projects and departments by analyzing expenses and cost transactions.
- Uses data gathered from each step of the supply chain to recommend cost reduction changes.
- Conducts market research, when necessary, to recommend pricing and business model modifications.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with shippers and vendors in the group.
- Prepares periodic cost reconciliation reports that track changes in labor, supply, and manufacturing costs.
- Provides detailed financial analysis and reports on expenses, including breakdowns of project costs, forecasts of remaining expenses, and opportunities for increased efficiency.
- Measures supply chain performance and reports to management.
- Monitors and collects data on current operations, including scheduling, sourcing, warehousing, production, and delivery.
- Negotiates with vendors and carriers to secure the best pricing and ensure contract compliance.
- Suggests cost-reducing or profitable solutions.
- Assists the AP & AR team with other activities.
- Demonstrates an understanding of expense accounts and cost centers.
- Performs any other related duties assigned.
What You Need for this Position
- Proficient in utilizing ERP (SAP) software.
- Possesses outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exhibits knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite, databases, and accounting software.
- Has hands-on experience in working with spreadsheets and generating financial reports.
