As part of that foundation, we are seeking a lead for xIL (MIL, SIL, HIL) integration, simulation, and testing as an integral part for our next generation's V&V platform development. The individual should be a technical leader that can lead a strong competent team (7-10 team members) and can work laterally and across multiple meta functions. The team is global and will support all Stellantis applications utilizing the Agile methodology. Employee development and satisfaction, work management, process efforts, project workload estimation, training and onboarding will all be part of this lead's responsibility. Working closely with functional design, architecture, plant and environment models, simulation framework, testing teams is a part of the daily work. xIL Integrated Systems will include virtual ECUs, soft ECUs, plant models (sensors, actuators), bus models, environment, vehicle models etc. This is an Automotive Systems lead role and hence a thorough understanding of functionality and performance is required. Triage, troubleshooting and root-causing, V&V platform diagnostics and monitoring are some of the essential responsibilities.
The primary focus of this individual will be to lead development, integration and testing, repository maintenance and version control of the V&V platform, the candidate must be familiar with continuous integration and delivery methods, test automation & rollout. Furthermore, an agile testing mindset and good knowledge of MBSE, MBD and toolchains is a must. This individual must have a good understanding of Autosar (both Classic and Adaptive) configurations – MCALs and Complex Device Drivers, Linux, Communication Protocols (Ethernet, CAN etc.), Foundation – Multi Core, Diagnostics, OTA, and HMI.

Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related degree field
A minimum of 8 years of experience
Good knowledge of virtual testing methods (model based, xIL, etc.)
Good knowledge of agile test methods and test automation
Good understanding of testing standards
Experience with complex test environments
Experience working with and/or managing global teams
Experience with planning, status & risk reporting and escalation, prioritization, and global governance
Experience with plant modeling in one of the following domains - Propulsion Systems, ADAS, Infotainment, Chassis
Budget planning and management
Strong foundational experience with Agile, Scrum and DFSS Methodologies
Outstanding interpersonal and project planning skills
Experience with ECU Interface and Testing tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering
Knowledge and understanding of an Automotive OEM
Good knowledge of state of the art SW construction and integration methods and tool chains
Good knowledge of OS (Operation Systems), Autosar (Classic and Adaptive), Linux etc
Experience with model-based development tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINK
Good understanding of automotive testing standards
Experience with Agile, Scrum
Experience with branch strategies & variant management
