Kid City USA-Winter Springs is in search of a Summer Camp counselor to lead its school age children during our 10-week summer program. Dates of work are from May 29th thru August 4th. This is a temporary position. Hours are from 9am until 5pm Monday thru Friday. Interested applicants must have a High School Diploma and be at least 21 years of age. Previous experience with school age children is required. Counselor will be responsible for the care and well-being of all children during in-house and off campus activities, including weekly field trips and craft activities. Counselors will also be required to drive our 15-passenger van to and from local field trips. We are in search of a creative, fun, happy person who can show empathy, kindness, understanding and also have a good sense of control and proven child management skills.

Requirements:

At least 1 year experience with School Age Children in a large group setting.

Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.

First aid and CPR certification.
