Locally owned, the shop showcases the signature all butter crust by Executive Chef Gan Suebsarakham, with a rotating menu of sweet and savory pies made in-house daily. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the menu features a variety of pies from pie slices to hand pies to classic meat & vegetarian pies.

Pop Pie Co.’s menu is globally inspired, with influence from Australia, Europe and Asia finding its way into specialty pies. Each Pop Pie Co. location serves as a community hangout, with communal seating, local craft beer on tap (San Diego only) and a specialty coffee bar to help you wake up in the morning.

The Store Manager role is a hands-on position in a fast paced environment that requires someone who: is approachable, is calm under pressure, is team-focused, has positive energy, has superb communication skills, and who is an excellent motivator.

The Store Manager role compensation will start at a $22.00/hr base pay rate + tips (tip average is additional $6 - $10/hour). We offer health insurance after successful completion of the first 60 days of employment.

The ideal candidate:

· Has leadership experience (3+ years)

· Has extensive customer service experience (5+ years)

· Barista (specialty coffee) experience preferred

· Has a working knowledge of Google Suite, including sheets & docs

· Has extensive experience building and managing schedules

· Is an excellent problem solver

· Is solutions oriented and results driven

· Is technologically savvy

· Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Leads by example with a positive “yes I can” attitude

· Leads with compassion and always considers their team when making decisions

· Is calm under pressure

The following reflects some essential job functions of this position:

· Analyzes service and quality issues, identify training needs, ensure implementation of training programs, and adhere to all training guidelines and policies

· Provides leadership support and direction to the teams

· Motivates, coaches and trains team members and set goals and accountability, providing appropriate feedback, rewards, and recognition

· Prioritizes the guest experience and acts upon guest requests
