Store Baker/Retail Associate AT FRESH BAGUETTE : Fresh Baguette is looking for a Store Baker / Retail Associate for its Georgetown store located on Wisconsin Avenue. The main role is customer service oriented to ensure customers are always warmly welcome and served in a clean and inviting environment from 7 AM to 1 PM every day of the week. As a Store Baker you will start at 5 a.m. to bake and then work as a Sales Associate when the store opens until 1 pm.
AS A STORE BAKER YOU WILL BE IN CHARGE OF:
- Baking all baked goods
- Organizing the freezer
- Packing away all delivery items
- Preparing bread display
- Making and serving baked goods, sandwiches, salads, breads, and pastries
- Providing friendly and prompt customer service, running a cash register
- Maintaining store safety, sanitation and proper food storage
- Addressing and answering customer complaints
- Paying close attention to the way products are displayed all over the day and to the cleanliness of the store
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Adhere to Fresh Baguette’s core values : Integrity, Respect, Reliable, Team player, Committed, Result oriented and customer focused
- Experience working at a cafe or bakery would also be a plus. Training available. Fast-paced job.
- Proven work experience in a similar role e.g. experience as a shift leader/supervisor
- Must be able to have reliable transportation for store opening duties at 5:00 AM
