Description

The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for receiving merchandise, maintaining inventory, and distributing items. This role is a temporary assignment that will be hired under an employment agency. The assignment will last around 3-4 months.
Key Responsibilities

Maintains accurate records of all inventory in stock.

Accurately maintain company database including all stock and inventory items.

Organize and sort items on shelving and bins.

Make and label a Kit Box for each TLA Job Order Traveler.

Pull, count and label parts listed on Job Order picklist. Record Qty and MIT on Picklist.

Issue (process) material to Job Order in ERP system.

Count and process incoming parts.

Stores parts in the appropriate location according to the Stock Record Location in Syteline.

Identify incoming parts for job shortages.

Counts, label parts and forwards to production.

Create job orders for shipping plates, test fixtures and resonators.

Process material requisitions for employees at the window.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Excellent customer service.

Basic math skills.

Interpersonal skills are essential.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.

Organization and basic office skills, including computer, data entry.

Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Accurate and strong attention to detail.

Strong sense of time organization and urgency.

Able to work independently and within a team.

Ability to maintain a high level of physical exertion for extended periods and working
primarily while standing.

Occasional stooping, bending and reaching may be necessary

Repetitive motion (mousing and keyboarding).

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.

Frequent walking from stockroom through the production facility and to various departments.
