SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Staffing Coordinator is an integral part of the management team, a leader who works hand in hand with the DON in staffing appropriately, helping maintain direction and ease in scheduling and staffing. A Staffing Director/coordinator develops and maintains a good working rapport with interdepartmental employees, as well as other departments within the facility. This Staffing Coordinator position is for weekends which is Friday evenings through Sunday nights.

You will be a great Staffing Coordinator because you have…

• Prior experience as a Staffing Coordinator/ Director within a nursing center or healthcare setting - desired!
• Ability to build strong relationships and gain support from staff.
• Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate a high level of flexibility and ability to handle stress, change, and unexpected occurrences
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current license as a Certified Nurse Assistant / Certified Medication Technician

Itemized Duties & Responsibilities for Staffing Coordinator:

• Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism calendars.
• Complete nursing schedule coordinating requests to ensure appropriate coverage of units.
• Consult with Nursing Department staff and supervisors concerning the staff/scheduling needs to reduce/eliminate problems.
• Assist employees with accurate completion and timeliness of Time Request Forms.
• Contact employees via telephone, email, text, etc. to ensure work sheets/time schedules are up to date.
• Answer employee calls regarding staffing/scheduling functions.
