JOB DESCRIPTION

Rosewood is currently seeking a Staff Accountan t to assist updating and reconciling the company’s general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable. We are looking for a multi-skilled generalist who will ensure accurate processing and recording of our transactions, while ensuring utilization of standard accounting principles that comply with Federal and State regulations. We utilize Intacct as our accounting system. Finally, we utilize an in-house cloud-based information system that prepares data to be processed and paid.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Vendor analysis

Reconcile credit card statements

Reconcile various General Ledger accounts including subledgers

Make appropriate journal entries (adjustments, corrections and monthly reconciliations)

Reconcile travel and expense per diems for field employees

Research and resolve any reconciling items on a monthly basis

Work with our Financial Assistants to review all coding for AP and AR transactions

Experience in Intacct, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe and possesses the ability to maneuver around the internet for corporate reporting requirements

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/BACKGROUND

1-3 years accounting experience preferred

4 Year degree in Accounting or related field

Previous experience with Intacct Software preferred

Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.

Strong technical and computer skills, especially Excel

Excellent follow-up and organizational skills

Attention to detail

Excellent written and communication skills
