This facility operates five days a week with potential for overtime and produces Taco Shells, Tortilla Chips and Tortillas.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for stacking of product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The starting pay for this position is $16.65 with a $.50 shift differential for 2nd Shift and a $1.00 shift differential for 3rd Shift.
Responsibilities:
- Lifting up to 30 lbs required at times.
- Stacker retrieves a pallet from the stack.
- Stacker places master cases on pallets according to the product code.
- Verify date codes on master cases.
- Upon completion of a full pallet, a pallet sheet is completed and placed on the pallet.
- Maintain pallet tickets and pallet log.
- Help assemble boxes.
- Keep work areas clean adhering to GMP guidelines.
- Perform work in a safe manner.
- Abide by all company policies / procedures, written or verbal.
- Work as a team member toward task accomplishments.
- Perform any other tasks assigned
Requirements:
- Tolerate warm/cold environment with temperature ranges from 65 to 90 degrees.
- Flexibility of wrists, hands and shoulders with some bending, lifting required.
- Stand for up to 8 hours.
- Some basic math will be required (addition/subtraction)
- Must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
