Primary purpose: check for quality and accuracy while stacking trusses for jobs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Quality control and ensure product remains organized
• Stack trusses with the right Job
• Build safe truss loads for truck drivers
• Troubleshoot
• Keep rollers clear of trusses.
• Maintain equipment.
• Basic housekeeping in the production area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Adjust approach to fill demands on the fly
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
• Capable of managing time well enough to get tasks done quickly and productively.
• Comfortable engaging with team members and collaborating as an equal
• Self-motivated and possess stamina and focus to perform outstanding work consistently
• Willing to do more than what is required, happily except tasks
• Willing to take the initiative to show someone else how things ought to work
• Enjoy working as a team, believe in yourself and welcomes feedback
• Disciplined to show up on time and complete tasks by deadlines
• Don’t procrastinate or take safety risks
• Calm under pressure
• Safety-focused and a team player

Strongly Preferred:

• Prior experience in a production facility or carpentry
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word & Excel)
