General Responsibilities
Siouxland Regional Transit System (SRTS) is a demand-responsive, ADA accessible, public transit system. We are currently accepting applications for bus drivers located in Ida Grove, Iowa. The ideal candidate is a safe, responsible driver with great customer service skills. Provided a company-issued cell phone, tablet and work independently with a well-maintained fleet of buses, vans and data-driven, automated scheduling software system. The driver has the ability to serve the general public and their communities by providing a service to others. SRTS is expanding into a new building in 2023 with additional fleet and resources. Full-time includes health insurance, vacation, sick and holiday pay. Applicants must be at least 25 years of age with preferred Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class C with passenger endorsement but not required. Individuals will be required to pass a DOT physical and mandatory drug testing. SRTS hours of operation are Monday – Saturday, 5:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Call Brenda Berens, Operations Manager, at 800-881-2076.
