Job description

Provides risk management support for key stakeholders in the business to identify, assess, aggregate and document risks and controls, including risks associated with new or modified products, services, distribution channels, regulations and third-party operations using advanced knowledge. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with assigned first line of defense business partners. Instrumental in supporting and monitoring progress for key risk management initiatives impacting various lines of business. Reporting to the SVP, Enterprise Risk, this role assists with identifying emerging risks and helps determine solutions to minimize or eliminate risk.

Monitors the risk and control environment to ensure that exposures are kept at acceptable levels. Serves as a key contributor in cross-functional teams to identify, assess, aggregate, and mitigate current and emerging risk events that may affect the enterprise or a core operating area. Supports the development of analytical material for discussions with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and influence solution strategies. Presents findings to include results of risk assessments to governance committees, business process owners and various levels of leadership.

Completes any other job-related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization's Values. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business management, Risk, Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of six (6) years of risk management or risk operations relevant to banking, audit, project management, public accounting or another related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, quantitative and analytical skills.

Self-motivated, highly organized, with the ability to multi-task and react to short deadlines. Works effectively in both individual and team environments.
