Job Description:

Need 9+years

• Responsible for creating Power BI Reports meeting customer reporting needs.
• Will be involved in data visualization (dashboards and executive level reports), reading/writing SQL Functions, and working with the customer to define reporting requirements to ensure products created meet the needs of the organization.
• Documents all problems and assists in their resolution.
• Under general direction, carries out procedures to ensure that information systems reports meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.
• Creates, implements, maintains, and enhances reports (detailed level to executive level) and dashboards.
• Regularly interacts with technical and line of business teams across internal groups and external vendors.
• Communicates and provides reports to others (executives, management, QA team, development team, etc.) and provides updates based on user requests.

Must Have Skills/ Experience:

• Have 3+ years of experience in working with Power BI reports and paginated reports.
• Have 3+ years of working with SQL Server and SSRS.
• Have 3+ years of SQL and database experience.
• Have 2+ Years of ETL Experience and knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and tools.
• Have 2+ Years of Database development experience.
• Have experience using database tools such as MS SQL Server Management Studio and/or TOAD.
• Have familiarity with relational DBs (SQL, Oracle).
• Have excellent command of the SQL language with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable reports.
• Have the ability to understand and translate accounting and financial concepts.
• Be driven to learn new technology, methodologies, and approaches to resolving issues.
• Be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of reports.
• Have strong, highly technical communication skills.
• Be a user advocate with the business partners and end users.
• Have excellent teamwork skills.
• Collaborate with other designers, project managers, and business stakeholders to prioritize activities throughout the software development lifecycle and deliver high-quality experiences in time.
• 3-5 years of recent experience developing analytic or visual reports/dashboards using Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, or other similar reporting platforms.

Complexity:

• Intermediate professional level role.
• Works on projects of moderate to high complexity within one or more development/production environments.
• Works on multiple programs/systems as an operation and/or project team member.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
