About the Role:

Reporting to our Director, Global Content and Communications of the Marketing team, the Senior Communications Manager will be responsible for strengthening Bullhorn’s position as a leader in the market and demonstrating our relevance to and strengthening our connections with the staffing industry. This role will craft Bullhorn’s point of view on key topics and then work independently and with teammates to get those messages into market through a combination of earned and owned media – all to raise awareness of the business and advance our thought leadership efforts.

A key part of this role will be engagement with the staffing industry directly. Are you a people person who loves making new connections? Someone who’s obsessed with keeping up the latest news and trends in staffing? The Senior Communications Manager needs to have a finger on the pulse of the industry - and will build strong relationships with staffing industry associations and leaders across Bullhorn’s base of customers and partners to do so. This individual will also be responsible for Bullhorn’s influencer marketing strategy and partner with Content teammates on our social media strategy. The ideal candidate will already have a wide network of staffing connections to draw upon.

As the lead for Bullhorn’s public relations efforts, the Senior Communications Manager will also identify opportunities to position Bullhorn as an expert on the staffing industry in the media and through speaking opportunities at industry events. This person will also manage the relationship with Bullhorn’s PR agency and consult with international marketing colleagues on PR efforts in markets outside the U.S.

Occasional (<10%) travel may be required.

A typical day will include

  • Developing and overseeing influencer marketing strategy to drive engagement on social media and other online channels
  • Helping to articulate Bullhorn’s POV on key topics and disseminate through appropriate channels, individually and in partnership with marketing colleagues
  • Managing PR agency relationships
  • Handling incoming media inquiries and occasional proactive pitching
  • Monitoring staffing industry online fora and identifying opportunities for Bullhorn to address relevant questions or challenges
  • Identifying and pitching opportunities for speaking engagements, liaising with presenters
  • Writing and editing press releases, bylines, and media comments.
  • Supporting Bullhorn’s thought leadership strategy by identifying opportunities to publicly promote our GRID research program and other thought leadership opportunities

This role is a fit for you if

  • You have 5+ years of experience in communications or public relations.
  • You have staffing industry experience and/or an established professional network in the industry.
  • You’re a strong writer who understands what makes a story compelling and relatable.
  • You have experience with influencer marketing, community management, or other proven expertise in social media engagement.
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills, can headline challenges and establish priorities, and unlock the power of the group.
  • You thrive in fast-paced settings, with the ability to build relationships remotely.
