Compensation: $36,800.00 - $71,000.00


OVERVIEW

The Talent Acquisition Specialist manages the full life cycle recruiting process to attract and hire talent for an assigned division(s) of the organization. This role serves as a facilitator of the talent pipeline into the organization and is the brand ambassador of the organization as new candidates enter their exciting work journey.


Responsibilities include:

  • Establishes effective partnerships with business leaders to understand and prioritize talent needs, identify strategic talent attraction/development initiatives, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the talent selection process.
  • Maintains knowledge of assigned business unit(s). Builds strong relationships with hiring managers to understand needs and regular communication to determine effectiveness of placements.
  • Responsible for posting positions internally (intranet) and externally using various sources (i.e., Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Actively source candidates using social media channels, community events and other creative sourcing avenues to attract talent and increase candidate engagement for future opportunities
  • Maintains regular communication with hiring managers and top candidates regarding status of openings. Informs hiring managers of challenges sourcing or identifying qualified candidates.
  • Evaluates candidates based on employment factors such as related experience, education and training, job-related assessments, skills, knowledge and abilities and other data pertinent to the selection and referral of candidates.
  • Screens candidates for qualifications, salary expectations, interest level, and interview availability. Coordinates interviews with hiring manager/hiring team. Updates ATS with appropriate status.
  • Engages with candidates as a single point of contact through the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and positive onboarding experience
  • Extends offers of employment, which may include negotiation within approved level of authority.
  • Promote organization as an employer of choice to all potential candidates with a focus on all the amazing offerings including benefits, culture, and opportunity.\
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 or more years talent acquisition/recruitment experience in high volume rolls to include, sourcing, screening, interviewing.
  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (currently utilizing Jobvite)
  • High comfort level with managing social media community engagement, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment law and recruiting concepts and practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Skills to work independently and be resourceful with the ability to prioritize workload
  • Flexibility to manage high volume workload, multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously
