Position Introduction:
Conagra Brands is on a journey to expand and integrate sales, trade and data solutions using a continuous delivery model. The Solution Architecture role offers the opportunity to oversee the modernizing our Sales and Trade capabilities, in conjunction with our data architecture, using cloud-based technologies for Conagra at the enterprise level. The goal is to deliver on our enterprise goals, drive innovative problem solving and build strong, omni-channel experiences. Leveraging strategic thinking, strong problem-solving skills, experience, and a sense of urgency you will work with business and IT partners to ensure the products and platforms we deliver help us achieve our enterprise ambitions.
Reporting to the Portfolio Owner of Sales and Trade, the Solution Architect is accountable and responsible for creating, scaling, and evolving our sales and trade solution architecture based on requirements and outcomes, industry trends, and technology options. You will partner with enterprise architecture to research new technology. You will be accountable and responsible for reducing product and portfolio complexity and technical debt while applying a platform first strategy.
You Will (position responsibilities):
Take accountability for the development and evolution of Sales and Trade capabilities in partnership with business and IT
Apply detailed experience or working knowledge of Trade, Sales Operations and Sales Rep experiences to establish a fundamental architectural capability to support business goals and value across the enterprise
Develop creative solutions and approaches to solve for opportunities essential to our goals and the evolution of essential products
Guide Sr Systems Analysts and Systems Analysts to ensure high quality products are released to production.
Assess the technical effectiveness and architectural fitness of Sales and Trade environments as well as integration needs across applications
Establish and bring adherence to controls, security and data integration standards ensuring a consistent architecture framework
Manage the overall Architecture/Design/Life Cycle management of assigned application portfolio
Define the portfolio’s architectural principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns that align to the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.
Ensure non-functional specifications enable operational agility, disaster recovery and support.
Contribute to cutover planning and release management ensuring technical patterns are followed
Up to 10% business travel might be required
Preferably based in Omaha, NE, or in Chicago, IL
You Have (position qualifications):
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science from accredited university plus 10+ years experience in IT (mostly in architecture and systems in Sales and Trade), or graduate degree in computer sciences with 7+ years experience in IT
Experience designing architecture for custom development of Sales and Trade solutions preferably in the areas such as SAP, Salesforce, Data and Analytics.
Experience translating complex technical concepts to business leaders, and business problems to technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with UX design principles to incorporate in the architectural design
Experience working in matrix organization with business and IT partners
Experience delivering products under the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Working knowledge of enterprise software licensing agreements
Experience working within JIRA / Confluence
