Sasaki Evolutionary Integration Services (SEIS) is an SBA 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). We have been serving Government, Department of Defense, and Commercial customers since 2009. We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer II to contribute to the development of automation tools within one of our existing customer sites. This position is a full-time, salaried position and is based out of either the customer’s Oakton, VA office or remotely for the duration of the contract. It is require that the selected candidate must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Current contract minimum duration is until Dec 2023.

SEIS participates in the E-Verify program to validate authorization to work in the United States

Role and Responsibilities

· Develop high quality maintainable code

· Automate processes using C#, Excel VBA, Python, and Oracle databases

· Participate in design discussions

· Execute projects and develop against an outlined design

· Collaborate across multiple teams within the customer

· Communicate issues and technical roadblocks effectively

· Integrate data sets from multiple legacy systems

· Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining

· Designs, develops, implements, and maintains business solutions

· Designs, develops, implements, and maintains database solutions

· Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

· Supports and develops junior engineers

Qualifications and Education Requirements

3-5 years of software engineering experience

3-5 years of Oracle database development experience

3-5 years of business process automation experience

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Firm understanding of software engineering and software development principles

Ability to communicate effectively with customers in both technical and non-technical roles

Preferred Skills

4+ years of software engineering experience

4+ years of Oracle database development experience

4+ years of business process automation experience

Experience with integrating legacy information systems

Experience with C#, Excel VBA, Python, and Oracle Databases

Experience with windows development

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $111,000.00 per year
