Intelligent Conservation Systems, Inc. (ICS) is the nation’s leading installer of intelligent water controls in the correctional market. Based out of Oviedo, Florida (just minutes from Orlando, FL), ICS has completed projects in 32 states nationwide and 3 countries globally. Our projects are designed to provide water savings for our customers, which can exceed millions of gallons of water per year per customer. ICS manages water conservation projects for Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) and for Federal, State, and Local correctional facilities on a turnkey basis. ICS is rapidly growing and is currently seeking talented and energetic individuals.

Position Detail

The position posting is for a talented, energetic and motivated Engineer. This position will be responsible for taking a project proposal from our development team and working alongside our construction team to finalize the proposal and carry it through to project completion.

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

 Perform on-site material and layout walkthrough/inspection and generate associated materials list and application schedule.

 Create project submittal package.

 Design custom material solutions.

 Provide ongoing support to Project Coordinator and on-site Project Superintendents

 Facilitate change order requests from the field to management.

 Conduct post-installation review with Project Superintendents.

 Verify measurement data from on-site Project Superintendents.

 Coordinate specialty subcontractors and related equipment.

Minimum Position Consideration Requirements

 Must be able to pass federal and state criminal security background clearances.

 Travel required (20-40%).

 Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.

 Trade skill, technical degree with construction, or repair experience preferred.

 Excellent verbal, written and computer communication and technical skills.

 Ability to analyze and quantify both water and energy savings and implement complex projects preferred.

 Knowledge of project cost estimating preferred.

 Experience working with MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, and CAD preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
