We are looking for lead full-stack engineers highly motivated to build commerce solutions using modern microservices architectures and DevOps practices for an AWS cloud delivery.

We have an open opportunity for an engineering lead in our Promotions/Campaigns service domains. We are creating a robust promotion engine that will serve standard e-commerce use cases, such as gift with purchase, product and order discounts, coupons, and buy X get Y free. You will be collaborating with global teammates from UI/UX design, product management, and business analysis all working in a common technology organization. Each domain team’s delivery stack extends from its data tier through a component-based web and native mobile UI.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science
• 8 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer
• 5 years of experience in eCommerce or customer facing solutions
• 4 years of experience in cloud base solutions
• 5 years of experience in agile & scrum practice

• Experienced in leading large scale IT projects

What’s special about this team:

We are completely rebuilding Amway’s commerce platform using a cloud (AWS) based microservices architecture. This new commerce platform will be a global solution running from multiple AWS availability zones. Well defined service domains/teams will minimize dependencies, increase agility, and allow for scaling to meet Amway’s future commerce needs.
