Job Title: Software Defined Vehicle Architect
Location: Remote
Duration: Full Time

Job Description

  • Engage with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements in the software-defined vehicle domain.
  • Develop comprehensive and innovative system architecture solutions for various vehicle subsystems, including but not limited to infotainment, vehicle control, telematics, and connectivity.
  • Analyze and optimize software performance, scalability, and reliability to ensure optimal system behavior.
  • Advise clients on the selection and implementation of appropriate software design methodologies, best practices, and standards to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients' engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of software components and subsystems.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to client teams, as well as internal team members.
  • Stay current on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in software-defined vehicle architecture and share insights with clients and colleagues.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations, training, and workshops for clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on embedded systems, automotive software, or related areas.
  • Proven experience in software-defined vehicle architecture or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or Python.
  • Experience with automotive software development processes and standards, such as ASPICE, AUTOSAR, or ISO 26262.
  • Experience with on board and off board connectivity platforms and systems
  • Expertise in interoperability standards and methods
  • Expertise with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) methods and implementation technologies such as web services in a distributed architecture deployment
  • Familiarity with communication protocols and standards used in the automotive industry (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as in a team setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role or an automotive OEM.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems such as ADAS, V2X, or electric powertrain systems.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
  • Experience implementing or supporting mobile applications, frameworks, and protocols.
