Social Media/Content Specialist
Everybody says they are a Social Media expert, we want someone who can prove it. Don’t just tell us how great you are, show us what you can do. Here is the deal, we are looking to hire one person to help manage our digital marketing and social media efforts. We are willing to bring you on as a part time (20-30 hrs a week) unpaid intern for one month to prove yourself, then if you are successful, the full time job is yours ($60,000 a year for the 1st year then performance-based raises after that).
This position will be responsible for everything involved in our digital and social media campaigns including but not limited to, developing a digital marketing strategy, creating and posting content, writing blogs, engaging with others on all platforms to grow our social media presence organically and posting relevant content to our website to increase SEO.
We are in the Business-to-Business Services space. Our clients are companies and high net-worth individuals that are looking for specific business services that we provide. We offer a very high dollar ticket item that appeals to C-Level company executives only. You must be able to write ads and copy that attract professionals and business owners. Impeccable grammar and attention to detail is essential, you should have a blend of creative and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities
- Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.
- Develop social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity.
- Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
- Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, and video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company's social media content.
- Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
- Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
- Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
- Staying up-to-date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
- Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
Requirements
- Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist; with heavy emphasis on Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, and SEO.
- Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
