Job Summary:

We're seeking an energetic Social Media Coordinator to assist our social media team with daily functions that will support many facets of the company. Some of those facets include providing support to the social media manager on various projects, execution of new social media strategy, reporting analytics, and coordinating with the rest of the marketing/creative team. The ideal candidate will be punctual, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and willing to flex into a new role at any given moment. Cannabis Industry experience is a plus!

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Support Social Media Manager with day-to-day posting on various social media platforms / multiple accounts in accordance with the content calendar
  • Support development and execution of social media strategy across social channels.
  • Social listening and benchmarking to synthesize ongoing trends, monitor competitive brands and report on quantitative findings
  • Collect, analyze and report back all analytics and insights for campaigns / accounts
  • Assist in creating monthly reports for the Social Media Department to track program KPIs, marketing metrics and ensure goals are being met.
  • Stay current and up-to-date with social media best practices and community guidelines
  • Research, contact, and communicate with various influencers and third parties.
  • Occasionally coordinating and delivering carepackages to partnerships
  • Will ideate and provide new strategies and initiatives
  • Maintaining up to 7-10 accounts each day
  • Managing and scheduling out content for multiple campaigns at once
  • Working with other team members to achieve goals and expectations on social pages as well as through influencer marketing

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines
  • Fluency with social media channels including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat etc.
  • A quick learner, a self-starter, able to work independently, and willingness (and ability) to handle the pressures of an increasing level of responsibility
  • Experience working with Google and Microsoft Suite
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with social media management
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with social media teams and influencer management
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Cannabis experience STRONGLY preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
