The Opportunity
Our companies Corporate Communications team is seeking an Associate to plan and execute social media and other digital content for external audiences. Must have excellent writing and storytelling abilities as well as knowledge of how brands fit in the social space. The ideal person is a blend of creative and strategic thinking that is willing to take on ideation and execution as part of a bigger communications strategy focused on amplifying key corporate initiatives and brand stories across focus social and web communities.

What Your Impact Will Be

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Create, ideate and post social media content for various audiences on various social media platforms
* Write compelling copy in a timely manner that is on-brand and on-strategy
* Digest business, entertainment, corporate, and brand information and distill it into essential components
* Advice and develop social content strategy for various social platforms
* Aid in formatting basic social assets that are optimized per social platform
* Monitor social platforms to identify activation opportunities
* Identify and optimize content opportunities based on social analytics
* Support web-related content updates using CMS
* Provide support and assistance in research (trends, topics)
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a positive and productive manner
* Work on multiple projects at once, sometimes under time-sensitive deadlines
* Monitor news for topics relevant to the company and company partnerships and create press coverage reports as needed
* Support other social/digital Corporate Communications initiatives as needed

What Were Looking For
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 3-5 years of experience managing social media for brand(s) including developing social strategies
* Awareness and understanding of social media management across platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram
* Strategic understanding of the digital and social landscape and what works on various platforms and why
* Strong resourcefulness and solutions-oriented attitude
* Highly organized, positive thinker; willing to jump in and get the job done
* Superior communication skills with the ability to interact cross-functionally at all organizational levels
* Great command of the English language (grammar, spelling and vocabulary)
* Relentless attention to detail
* Experience using Adobe Photoshop (preferred) or other design software

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
