PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive orders from supervisor.
• Safely operate forklift or walk behind.
• Proficiently operate hand-held scanning devices to scan merchandise from bin locations to the order using Warehouse Management Inventory System.
• Accurately record daily activities and daily control sheets. Accurately fills out trailer manifest and related shipping documents in a timely manner.
• Responsible for reporting inventory issues in a timely manner. Request maintenance orders be written for machine or safety problems or hazards.
• Meet established efficiency standards on a daily and ongoing basis.
• Adhere to all plant safety, quality, production, and efficiency standards.
• Assists in production activities by performing the following duties.
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• 6 months prior shipping/warehousing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work overtime on short notice, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Prior Working Knowledge of Bar-Coded Inventory management system desirable.
• Ability to communicate, both written and orally, by means of radio or telephone, computer problems, product shortages, and other order issues.
• Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to operator a sit-down forklift and walk behind.
• Ability to work cooperatively and to conduct oneself in a professional manner while performing the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
