Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

Preparing and packaging parts using the bagging machine and packaging to protect as best as possible. Keeping accurate count and noting the traveler of all parts being bagged. Visual inspection is required on all parts, along with occasional wrapping and marking of parts per the drawing or customer requirements. Attention to traveler details and keeping orders segregated by lot is essential. Overtime is required when necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ideal employee will be reliable, a fast learner, very organized, works well under pressure, and works well with others.

Washing parts

Bagging parts with a bagging machine

Trouble shooting bagging machine when needed.

Accurate count of parts (attn to detail)

Visual inspection for nicks, dings, FOD, plating inconsistencies, etc.

Preparing physical boxes to be shipped

Wrapping/packaging to protect bigger heavier parts.

Matching paperwork with correct prepared box with parts to ship.

Marking parts when needed as required.

Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Ensuring certifications are correct.

EDUCATION:

High School or equivalent preferred

EXPERIENCE:

6+ months preferred.

Basic math

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
