Due to consistent growth and expansion, Omni Technologies is looking for an experienced 2nd Shift Supervisor to join the team in Tri-State Area! This is an opportunity to be recognized for the leader you are!

  • Proven and extensive leadership and supervisory experience.

  • Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Enforce and communicate the importance of all safety practices to employees
  • Provide training and assistance in troubleshooting production issues
  • Develop a cross functional workforce for employees to learn a variety job assignments
  • Manage staffing levels in departments based on the workload to achieve necessary production
  • Delegate tasks to direct reports to develop new or extend the employees existing skillsets
  • Identify and implement opportunities for capital improvements with a positive ROI
  • Foster and help create a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Provide feedback and training in “real-time”. Does not wait to provide correction or accountability.
  • Devise and execute plans to eliminate bottlenecks in workflow
  • Organize and plan production work by department and assigns responsibilities accordingly.
  • Coordinate efforts with maintenance to minimize production down time but maintain equipment effectiveness
  • Provide accountability in the form of disciplinary action when necessary
