Locally-owed Machos Tacos in Sidney, New York, is seeking an experienced shift supervisor. This is a great opportunity for someone with restaurant, fast food, or retail experience looking to step up and learn to be effective in a management role.

Full-time availability preferred. Part-time availability will be considered. Applicants must be available to work at least two Fridays and Saturdays each month.

Paid on-the-job training will be provided. You will be taught everything that you need to know to be successful. You will be mentored by owners with over 30 years experience in restaurant operations and management.

Job Requirements

We seek a hardworking, motivated individual with a positive attitude. Someone who is able to supervise and direct others but is also not afraid to do whatever it takes to get the job done. This person must be highly organized and detail oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills. Customer service and restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

• Be at least 18 years old
• Leadership skills
• Strong desire to work hard and succeed
• Minimum two years of restaurant/fast food/retail experience (preferred)
• Supervisory experience (preferred)

Role and responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional customer service and in-store experience to our loyal customer base
• Answering customer questions and resolving any customer issues in a friendly, accurate, and timely manner
• Overseeing delivery and storage of food supplies
• Maintaining adequate stock levels and stock rotation
• Monitoring and maintaining proper store cleanliness, appearance and maintenance, following restaurant guidelines
• Supervising and helping with morning and afternoon food preparation
• Serving customers and supervising employees
• Ensuring a quality experience by providing a safe and clean restaurant environment

Compensation based on aptitude and experience. All employees eligible to share in pooled tips.
