As a ServiceNow Business Analyst & Test Coordinator supporting CMS, you will be trusted to capture actionable requirements and help coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across matrixed stakeholders. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Maintain a healthy backlog of actionable requirements for a development team of 6-8 people
- Coordinate & coach dozens of matrixed stakeholders to effectively perform UAT and regression testing
- Maintain effective documentation on requirements and testing responsibilities to ensure consistency
- Partner with the scrum master to proactively create and manage epic, story, and scrum task records
- Continual learning of the ServiceNow platform to aid in requirements facilitation and testing
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Technical Writing and three (3+) years relevant Business Analyst (BA) experience in the IT field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Effective communication skills: listening, talking, writing, and understanding. Good self-awareness.
- Capable with core components of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to type fast and accurately, even while others are watching on-screen.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in parallel with an awareness for evolving prioritization.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Self-motivated to keep learning more about the ServiceNow platform, capabilities and best practices and apply/share them with teammates and our customer.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of direct experience with the ServiceNow platform in a BA/Process or Developer role.
- 2+ years’ experience working on project teams that leverage Agile/Scrum.
- ITIL Foundations Certification (v4 or higher) or a willingness to attain within first year.
- Certified ServiceNow Administrator, Business Process Analyst or other ServiceNow certification
- Business Analyst certification(s)
- Familiarity or experience with automated testing, particularly ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
Security Clearance Level: Public Trust
- Ability to obtain an HHS Public Trust Clearance: candidate shall have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years and will be required to go through a public trust background investigation.
