Job description

Chrysler of Lawrenceburg is looking for a highly qualified, highly motivated individual to serve on our team of Service Technicians. Service Technicians meet with our existing customers on pre-scheduled appointments to perform annual maintenance or follow up on warranty issues for customers' waterproofing, crawlspace, and foundation repair systems. Service Techs inspect, diagnose and recommend additional products or services to address customer needs. Both construction and sales experience are preferred. Excellent customer service skills and integrity are crucial. Individual must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities for Service Technician

• Install new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctly
• Perform maintenance and provide customer support
• Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them
• Order parts needed for repairs if needed
• Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed
• Explain issues with equipment and repairs to advisors
• Build and maintain relationships with customers

Qualifications for Service Technician

• Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment
• Must have current certifications
• Minimum of 2 years experience
• Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
• Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job
• Ability to work independently without much supervision
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces

• Ability to effectively manage time
