Mission/Job Scope:

The sales, installation and repair of hot tub (or any applicable) equipment both residentially and commercially. Interact with Leslie’s customers providing service, recommendations and general guidance. Work closely with Service Manager to ensure all company guidelines, policies and procedures are met and exceeded. Provide superior customer service along with quality workmanship to every customer.

Responsibilities:

Must maintain the highest standards in customer service, display professional and ethical conduct, and possess sound verbal and written communication abilities. Appearance must be maintained and well-groomed at all times. Must be able to understand and comply with all Company directives and policies inclusive of safer driving and work place habits.

• Work with the rest of the service team to achieve desired sales forecast and contribution goal set forth by the Company.
• Provide troubleshooting of swimming pool, spa equipment, fireplace, or any other applicable product available in response to customer requests for service; make necessary repairs and test all functions to complete job properly as well as instructing customers on proper care and maintenance.
• Plan the day’s service visits for maximum efficiency and responding to customers inquiries in a timely manner while completing/providing all necessary work reports/invoices and documents.(AQ)
• Track any/all training hours.
• Must be comfortable using technology and software.
• Contribute individually to meet the Key Performance Indicator goals. KPI goals not to exceed:

  • 8% Callbacks
  • 15% Cancellation
• Provide quality workmanship
• Use and demonstrate best business practices with respect to driving, maintaining and operating Leslie’s provided company vehicle and all equipment.
• Work with the rest of the service team to provide superior customer service to every Leslie’s customer.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of 110 volt and 220 volt electricity.
• Installation, troubleshooting and repair of gas and electrical heaters.
• Working knowledge of general plumbing hydraulics.
• Repair of motors, filters, timers, pool cleaners, blowers, lights, automated pool systems, chlorinators, backwash valves, PVC plumbing, copper plumbing, galvanized plumbing.
• Repair suction problems as well as priming problems and high/low pressure problems.
• Acid washing pools (if applicable)
• Maintain 01, 07, or 07B electrical license (if applicable)
• Possess a valid State Driver’s License
• Good understanding of water chemistry and associated chemicals
• Able to work outdoors in all types of conditions
