About Us: Spare Time Texas is a locally owned Texas-based entertainment company specializing in bowling, arcade, laser tag, dining, and events. The company first opened its doors in Temple, TX in 2013. The second center opened in Pflugerville, TX in December 2015. We strive to provide outstanding facilities, products and service at a fair price for the communities we serve.

Major Function: We are currently seeking outstanding servers to join our fun, fast paced and highly motivated team. Primary responsibility is to provide an extraordinary dining experience to all dining patrons.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare tables for guests, ensuring all condiments remain filled and tables are clean
• Greet all guests immediately with a warm and welcoming demeanor
• Remain knowledgeable of all menu items
• Present menus to guests, suggest dishes and drink selection as needed
• Write guest orders per company guidelines to provide to kitchen staff for preparation
• Communicate any specific details to kitchen staff to ensure customer receives their order as requested
• Process guest payments accurately
• Deliver meals, desserts, drinks, and other requested items to customers
• Resolve customer concerns as needed
• Maintain a positive demeanor at all times
• Assist with special events as needed
• Consistently adhere to grooming and appearance policies per handbook and health code
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• 18+ yrs
• Current Texas food handler certificate
• Knowledge in food preparation, sanitation, and hygiene
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
