SUMMARY
The Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous service to all customers to insure customer satisfaction.
- Performs necessary tasks to service customers including but not limited to taking and filling all food and drink orders.
- Assist customers as necessary by monitoring customer needs including assisting the elderly and handicapped.
- Assist with cleaning tables and take dishes, utensils, etc. to kitchen for washing.
- Sanitize beverage areas during shift.
- Follow all company procedures and health regulations at all times.
- Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.
- This position may require cross-training of both front and back of the house daily operations of the Food and Beverage Department.
- All other departmental duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must have excellent customer service skills.
2. Prefer 1-year of experience in food service.
3. Must be able to Multitask, and carry out tasks with or without supervision.
4. Must be able communicate in English including reading and writing.
5. Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming
Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
1. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk, hear,
stand for entire shift, walk, sit and to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger,
handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
2. Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
3. Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
4. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
5. Environment may be smoke filled and fast paced with moderate to high noise levels on
the casino floor, low to moderate in the kitchen.
6. Exposed daily to flashing lights and ringing bells.
7. Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable
accommodation.
REPORTS TO: Food and Beverage Supervisor
SUPERVISES: None
HOURS: The casino operates 24/7. Schedule, shift, and hours will vary.
SALARY: /hour / weekly pay / overtime eligible
BENEFITS: Dependent on classification and status
