Senior Wireless Systems Test Engineer Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review product requirements, software specifications and technical design documents to provide meaningful comments
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured system test plans and test cases from standards, feature documents and customer requirements
  • Identify the testing requirements and creating test environment / lab setups for the system testing of new features
  • Provide feedback on product usability for customers, enhancements etc.
  • key contributor to implement and plan our systems test infrastructure
  • create, maintain, and execute automated test cases for systems test cases

A successful candidate should also enjoy technical challenges, demonstrate leadership,
work autonomously, be highly motivated, take initiative to proactively solve problems, be
adept at creating a plan then executing that plan, and exhibit excellent interpersonal and
communication skills to be successful in a high-energy, fast-paced and fun environment.
Requirements and skills

Requirements and Experience:

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering / Computer Science, or 5+ years of relevant experience in writing test automation code
  • Must have strong min 3+ years’ experience in writing software, tests, and scripts
  • Sound knowledge of LTE/5G technologies with good understanding / interpretation of Call Flows, Signaling Protocols
  • 7 - 10 years of System testing experience in LTE/5G in an end-to-end lab environment involving RAN, Core network and EMS
  • Good understanding on EMS that include OAM FCAPS (Fault, Configuration, Performance, Security), device management protocols like TR069
  • hands on experience with RF equipment and troubleshooting
  • Experience with LAN/WAN, routing protocols, TCP/IP, QoS, Tunneling and security protocols (IPSec) etc. is a plus
  • 3+ years working with software test execution frameworks like gtest, pytest or similar
  • Strong scripting experience in Python for test automation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

Pay: $127,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
