BASIC FUNCTION:
The Sr. Treasury Management Consultant works directly with the Director of Treasury Management Strategies on various projects pertaining to the sales and delivery of the treasury solutions AAC provides to customers. Projects include working with internal and external teams on technology enhancement projects, creating content material, direct customer interaction, along with portfolio management with the relationship teams. The Treasury Management Consultant assists with identifying prospects and cross selling to an existing customers is assigned districts and/or segments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Works with Relationship Managers and assists with developing prospect for new business through the cross-sell of Treasury Management solutions

Assist Relationship Managers with prequalifying prospects and customers

Collaborate with Relationship Mangers to stay up to date on client relationships and maintain fluid communication with internal partners

Develop and maintain Center of Influence (COI’s) within the industry independently and with Relationship Managers

Manages a portfolio of existing Treasury Management customers conducting relationship reviews with top identified customers annually

Serves as the main Treasury Management customer contact

Prepares sales presentation providing a comprehensive solution for clients Treasury Management needs

Keeps informed of current activities in the Treasury Management field including new products and industry trends

Provides client feedback and input to product mangers for ideas regarding new product development, enhancements and modifications
OTHER DUTIES:
-
Assist in completing Business Process Reviews for Association and customer’s automation projects

As required, prepare managerial reports such as sales pipeline report, watch list and other reports as assigned

Assist Director of Treasury Management in developing marketing and training material for Treasury Sales

Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors

Maintain confidentiality; adhere to American AgCredit policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations and industry best practices
LEVELS OF SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECEIVED:
Exercises no supervision; regularly provides technical guidance and training; makes some independent decisions; works under general direction and general supervision of Director of Treasury Management Strategies
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5 years of prior financial industries experience required
-
Five + years of direct Treasury Management sales experience required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to collect, analyze and synthesize information

Detail orientated
-
Strong communication skills, including verbally and written are required

Works well individually individually and on a team is required

Desire and ability to travel and meet with customers in person as needed

Works independently with Relationship Managers and their teams in developing market strategies in assisting Association customers with their working capital needs.

Manages complex customers in our Agri-Business and Capital Market channel in an assigned market territory.

Is a leader in talent development by partnering with Treasury Management Analyst/Associate Treasury Management Consultant in growing their Treasury Management knowledge in the Farm Credit System.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have the ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting. Employee will be sitting for extended periods of time and accomplishing work at a desk and work at a computer for an extended period of time. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to adequately convey ideas and work well with a team. Ability to talk and hear, sit and use their hands and fingers, and reach in all directions is essential in performance of the job. Some lifting and moving of items up to 25 pounds required. Work during established business hours and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
PART-TIME REMOTE/HYBRID:
These employees will work partly remote and partly onsite. Part-time remote employees will work with their managers to determine when and how often they are needed onsite.
PAY RANGE:
Minimum - $93,300.00 Max - $155,500.00
This range is reflective of the national salary average for this position and will be adjusted using geographic variance for physical location of the hired candidate. American AgCredit may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.
