Partners with our technology and business teams to implement technically sound business solutions. As an Implementation Manager, you will partner with cross-functional leaders, vendors, and an agile delivery team to ensure that project goals are being met. This highly collaborative role works closely with stakeholders, vendor partners, end-users, and functional and technical team members, to deliver quality solutions to our business. The Sr Implementation Manager oversees and maintains project plans and works closely with internal and external resources to monitor and communicate progress and provide recommendations with project stakeholders and
leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal IT and Operations leadership as well as vendor management to help identify, evaluate, select and implement technology solutions for the restaurant and supply chain systems.
- Lead both functional and technical implementation aspects of each systems project from the planning to post go-live, ensuring the accomplishment of desired scope, timeline, quality, and budget.
- Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
- Manage, coordinate and track activities of personnel, whether internal or third-party resources, to ensure timelines stay on track and successful implementation of solutions.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure a smooth deployment of all restaurant technologies.
- Anticipate and mitigate risks and troubleshoot myriad of problems when they arise during a project.
- Monitor work queues and advise on workforce adjustments as needed depending on project implementation needs.
- Able to implement both process and procedures creating both IT Change and Release Management.
- Lead team and client meetings, using engaging, informative presentation methodologies; ensuring timely follow-up and holding project team members accountable.
- Demonstrate high level of accountability and proficiency with all team members internal and remote for all projects.
- Responsible for project documentation updates and archives.
- Manage project level communications as well as periodic Executive and company-wide status updates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project management, information systems, systems management, supply chain management, restaurant systems implementations, business analytics or other related field.
- 2 years managing project teams of 10 or more both internal and remote.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Project Management in a service-based industry.
- 2-3 years of experience in business analyst role with proven analytic skills.
- 3+ years implementing medium to large scale projects across 100+ remote entities.
- Strong functional knowledge of project management principles and processes.
- Computer proficiency across Microsoft Office, as well as proven experience working with project management software, i.e. Smartsheets, Sharepoint, or similar.
- Experience with Data Warehousing, Analytics or BI.
- Functional knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work productively in influencing and holding people accountable.
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated to complete projects from start to finish.
