Position: Staff Accountant

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Responsibilities:

Enter accounting data (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Journal Entries into Quickbooks.

· Prepare monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing

· Maintain detail reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts

· Provide assistance for the processing of biweekly payroll.

· Generate Quickbooks and Excel reports for analysis purposes.

· Responsible for the timely review of accounts payable transactions, and reconciling to open invoice reports and file documents.

· Reconcile information in Quickbooks to external vendors or customer’s statements.

· Assist with the preparation of cash flow analysis and budget vs actual performance.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and skills:

· College degree in business and at least 3 years of experience

· Accounting and bookkeeping

· Proficient in the use of Quickbooks.

· Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Analytical skills

· Attention to detail

· Confidentiality

· Accuracy.

· Ability to work independently

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
