We are looking for a new colleague in the Materials Department at our location in Marshall, IL.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for creating, maintaining and implementing warehouse processes including, but not limited to receiving, material replenishment and inventory control.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand relationships between SAP, Panacim and Replenishment System.
• Understand Insert JIT vs SAP.
• Understand warehouse systems (ex: Trucks, Material Alerts, Raw Material Ordering system, Virtual Trucks).
• Create training documents.
• Responsible for training new employees.
• Troubleshoot system issues (ex: SAP Problems).
• Attend meetings with multiple departments/ areas.
• Manage line side storage for multiple areas.
• Support 5S for good housekeeping and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma, Lean production and Less programs.
• Support Quality Operating Systems reporting freight metrics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with and support the health, safety and environmental programs, policies and procedures.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma required. Associates degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of related experience.
• Must be able to coordinate between various departments and teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn all warehouse processes and procedures.
• Must be proficient at MS Word, Excel, SAP.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS ANALYSIS:

• Operation of computer keyboard, mouse
• While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to sit, stand, use hands to handle or feel; to reach with hands and arms; and to talk and hear.
• Mobility throughout the facility

• Employee is occasionally required to stand and kneel, walk, and crouch. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus
