As a Senior Project Accountant on the $3.3BN Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel Expansion Project (HRBT) in Virginia, you will assist the Admin & Finance Manager with various duties such as mitigation to increasing workload due to Project progress.

The scope of the company is general contracting and construction work, along with any associated services related to large selected Design and Build projects, either public or private for which it can bring clear and strong added value.

VINCI Construction LLC aim to develop engineering and construction services for large infrastructure projects in various parts in the United States and provide a highly skilled and competitive professional service in construction field.

The Joint Venture including VINCI (33%), Dragados USA (42%), Flatiron Constructors (25%) has been awarded with a $3.3 Bn. design-build contract for the I-64 Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Expansion Project (HRBT) in Virginia, which is the largest construction contract awarded in the history of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

Principle Accountability and Responsibility:

  • Accounting: relations with JV Accounts Dept, monthly invoices follow-up (delay of payments VCGP Staff and At Cost, DCB Staff and At Cost, DIMT invoices), monthly cashflow reporting (including long term debt update, loans follow-up, bank reconciliation checking, and cashflow forecast), quarterly bonds and guarantees reporting (incl. follow-up and extensions), quarterly Fast Close preparation, control and transmission (including revenue integration), answers to Auditors requests (accounts justification), Overheads invoices and payment follow-up, JV accounts audit (suppliers delay of payments, …)
  • Cost Control: Actual reporting preparation including cashflow forecast/actual, investments forecast/actual
  • HR: Social Reporting, Follow-up ex-pats (visa, insurances, rent, …), VIE application
  • Admin: Housing management
  • Other tasks: Executes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • Master s degree in finance or equivalent with minimum 5-10 years experience in finance
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Work, Teams and SharePoint
