Senior Nutrition Site Coordinator- Pro Action of Steuben and Yates, Inc. is accepting applications for a Dundee Site Coordinator with our Senior Nutrition program working 25 hours a week.
Our part-time benefits include generous paid time off and sick leave and up to 13 paid holidays per year.
The Site Coordinator should be friendly and outgoing and genuinely enjoy interacting with older adults. Cooking and kitchen skills are required as are good computer skills for data collection and reporting.
The Site Coordinator must be comfortable working independently as well as supervising others, including training and supervising program volunteers. The Site Coordinator will be responsible for food safety and quality and ensuring a safe, clean, well-stocked and pleasant meal site for customers and staff. Must follow NYS Dept. of Health and ServSafe guidelines for food safety and sanitation procedures.
A high school diploma or equivalent with one year experience in serving, food preparation, and food safety. A valid driver’s license meeting agency standards is required for this position. Daily, in the a.m., the Site Coordinator will depart from Lakeview Apartments in Bath, in an agency vehicle, to deliver meals in Penn Yan and Dundee. Will work at the Dundee location until approx. 12:30 p.m., then return to Lakeview Apartments to unload the vehicle and finish the day shortly after.
