Senior Manager, Supply Chain
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain will lead and support the team responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations, capex budget planning, hardware forecasting and procurement, evaluation of new to market technology, vendor and asset management, and global logistics.
What You'll Do
- Manage a distributed team, working closely with your team and cross functional partners in infrastructure and engineering to ensure a successful and high performing team
- Recruit and hire Supply chain and logistics staff
- Mentor and provide regular feedback to your team, both in 1:1s and ad hoc
- Implement supply chain models/processes to support supply chain requirements and financial controls
- Maintain and grow the pool of providers for the main components of Fastly's network infrastructure
- Improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations
- Lead RFP/RFQ, contract review, negotiation and related diligence processes; conduct deal term, master and service level agreement reviews as needed.
- Create budgets, forecasts, and related financial reports as necessary.
- Collaborate and drive from Supply Chain perspective the Fixed Asset Reporting
Work Hours: This position will require you to be available during core business hours
What We're Looking For
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of management experience
- 5+ years of direct experience in a technical engineering role or supply chain role focusing specifically around network infrastructure hardware (compute, storage, networking).
- Advanced knowledge of product lifecycle management processes and supply chain tools
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to think strategically and operate tactically
- Ability to drive change and improve end-to-end processes
- Experience in Network Operations, Network Engineering, and/or Procurement in Content Delivery Network (CDN), Internet Service Provider (ISP), Hosting, or other datacenter centric environments.
- The ability to work a hybrid role from one of our US based Fastly offices: San Francisco is preferred, but we are also open to Denver or New York.
Work Location & Travel Requirements:
This is a HYBRID position will be based out of one of our Fastly offices in San Francisco, Denver, or New York. Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.
This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.
Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $132,060 to $194,210.
Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly's equity and discretionary bonus programs.
