Expedia Group (EG) is seeking a Senior Director, Vendor Management for our Traveler & Service Platform organization in theProduct & Technology Division. You will be responsible for building long term vendor network strategy, commercial contracts with BPO vendors and a specialized team on vendor managers. Works on sourcing and managing contact center vendors across a function and handling relationships with vendors to improve operational performance.

What you’ll do:

  • Advise key stakeholders by continuously helping them to successfully navigate through critical business changes.

  • Build long term vendor network strategy and commercial contracts with BPO vendors to deliver exceptional service experience and cost structure.

  • Utilize deep expertise and contextual awareness to explore complex issues to provide trusted advice.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert to others on new ideas and solutions that will improve current business processes and address challenges and leverage other subject matter experts as needed to develop solutions.

  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of the industry and its performance by remaining current on leading trends and interacting with industry stakeholders.

  • Serve as an expert on industry issues, including trends and challenges or concepts; provides guidance and expertise on unique situations.

  • Guide key stakeholders on selection and application of industry products/services, enabling them with the proper tools, resources, and knowledge for successful implementation.

  • Coach and leads team members to identify business opportunities and signals that the customer may need.

Who you are:

  • 10+ years of Vendor Management experience, including processes, policies, commercial negotiations and tools.

  • Strong knowledge of contact center technologies - keeps current with emerging changes in contact center industry and technologies

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills

  • Experience leading teams and coaching individuals in a complex, matrixed environment

The total cash range for this position is $277,000 to $387,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $443,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
