Media.Monks is hiring a senior-to-amazing-level copywriter to produce work for one of our dedicated account teams for one of the biggest brands in the world. We're looking for someone who can wield words, wisdom, and wit as they craft web copy, brands, conceptual campaigns, emails, and more.
This is a role that will partner with designers, UX strategists, creative directors, animators, account managers, project managers, and other writers on a wide range of deliverables. The ideal candidate is skilled at reaching both B2B and B2C audiences, can manage work across multiple clients and teams, and knows how to push projects forward. You're able to stay humble while showing off your creative thinking—and will help us maintain an environment that encourages expression, inclusivity, and collaboration. Responsibilities:
- Develop concepts and copy for all kinds of creative assignments (including platforms, campaigns, emails, experiential installations, and anything else that fits the brief).
- Work collaboratively in Figma with a diverse group of creatives and embrace an iterative process.
- Know how to write in a variety of tones and styles that speak to a range of target audiences.
- Persuasively present concepts and projects, both internally and externally to clients (in writing, in person, or via video).
- Bring an eagle eye to every assignment and provide editing support and accuracy assurance to the wider team.
- Work as part of a global group of Monks on both local and international assignments, operating across teams and time zones on projects big and small.
- Explore ways to help clients beyond the immediate scope and think strategically about their bigger needs.
- Contribute to improving our workflows, best practices, and client relationships.
- Proactively conduct research and/or interviews when it's warranted.
- Bring an unprecedented level of organization to every project.
- Be a champion for our culture and values.
Experience:
- English native copywriter who has been working at an international level.
- UX copywriting experience is required.
- Agency and/or in-house experience on B2B and B2C communications.
- Experience with a wide range of formats and communication vehicles and the ability to move from one to the next with ease.
- A portfolio that shows your versatility and conceptual imagination while staying on brand across channels and audiences.
- Ability to present work with confidence, enthusiasm, and a solid rationale. You're poised, polished, and articulate. You never get rattled or defensive. Instead, you listen and consider.
- Independence in solving creative problems as well as partnering with teammates and clients to bring new ideas to life.
- Ability to work quickly and through multiple iterations without losing sight of the brief.
- Experience collaborating across the Google Suite and Figma, and a willingness to pick up new tools and techniques as needed.
- Your attention to detail is close to annoying: typos, inconsistencies and questionable punctuation marks have little chance of getting past you.
- You are constructive, solution-oriented, and take responsibility for your work.
- You are a storyteller with experience crafting voices for brands that translate globally.
- You understand design principles and feel comfortable working closely with all kinds of roles across the design discipline.

Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $90k - $120k annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, generous paid time off, and other benefits also are available.
