Senior Cook
Head Start is looking for a friendly and caring individual to prepare nutritious food for toddler and pre-school children, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
As Senior Cook you will:

- Purchase and maintain food inventory
- Prepare meals and snacks according to Head Start and CACFP guidelines
- Follow guidelines for preparing and documenting foods required for special diets and food allergies
- Maintain ServSafe certification
This position has school breaks and summers off. This position has a pending hire.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or HSED; one year of experience in school or Institutional food service; knowledge of acceptable food safety and sanitation procedures; valid New York State driver’s license.
Pay Range Guide:
- Standard Start Rate - education and experience meet job requirements
- Advanced Start Rate - education and experience exceed job requirements (subject to approval)
